#WellnessWednesday – Dr. Jackie Whittaker is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia and is recognized as a Clinical Specialist in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She is a Research Scientist of Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation at Arthritis Research Canada. In this #WellnessWednesday episode, she shares tips on h ow to care for your joints during COVID-19 and demonstrates some exercises dedicated to joints in the lower extremity.

Dr. Shahin Jamal is a rheumatologist in the Department of Medicine, Division of Rheumatology at Vancouver Coastal Health, and Clinical Associate Professor and Program Director of Adult Rheumatology at the University of British Columbia. In this #FactsFriday episode, she discusses how the delivery of healthcare has changed during the COVID-19 outbreak as patients and doctors do consultations by telephone or on-line. She addresses patients’ concerns about whether they should continue to stay on their medication therapies.
