Take the ACE Survey on Arthritis and Mental Health

People with arthritis are more at risk for developing mental health issues because of the interaction of anxiety, depression, and fatigue with chronic arthritis pain. Arthritis Research Canada reports up to 70% of patients with rheumatoid arthritis experience anxiety and up to 38% experience depression; up to 40% of lupus patients experience anxiety and 30% experience depression.

With this survey, ACE hopes to understand what steps people living with arthritis take to take care of their mental health and what specific challenges they may face when accessing timely professional care. We also want to identify how patient organizations, health care providers and the healthcare system can better support people living with arthritis with their mental health and overall wellbeing.

The Survey is open to people living with any form of arthritis and will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Your identity will not be known and your responses will remain anonymous. Survey results are stored in a secure, accredited data centre. The Survey deadline is May 25, 2022.

We sincerely thank you for your time and participation!
