The future of arthritis research is in your hands

"Help the Canadian Arthritis Network Create A World Without Arthritis" Survey

In 2007, 4.5 million Canadians live with arthritis - young and old, alike. The rate of the disease is growing at an alarming rate, and is costing Canada's health care system roughly $18 billion per year. Many forms of the disease kill people, just like HIV/AIDS and some forms of cancer. But research can change that, like it has for people living with those diseases.

The Canadian Arthritis Network ("CAN") is the only federally funded research institute in Canada working solely on finding the causes, cures and treatments for the over 100 different types of arthritis disease. In 2012, the CAN's federal funding will end, so to ensure that their world renowned research continues over the next five years and into the future they need vitally important input from you - a person living with arthritis or someone interested in it.

Tell the CAN what research they should focus on to change the future of arthritis. Please click below to take the "Help the Canadian Arthritis Network Create a World Without Arthritis" Survey.
