Arthritis Consumer Experts’ latest National Survey reveals impact of mental health on arthritis patients
We know that individuals living with arthritis are more at risk for developing mental health issues because of the interaction of anxiety, depression, and disease symptoms such as pain and fatigue. For instance, up to 70% of patients with rheumatoid arthritis experience anxiety and up to 38% experience depression.
Arthritis Consumer Experts is releasing the findings of its most recent National Survey conducted to better understand how individuals living with arthritis care for their mental health and the specific challenges they face when accessing timely professional care.
