Brand new Twitter feed created for "Arthritis is cured! (if you want it)" National Arthritis Awareness Program in Canada.

In addition to the Twitter feed we have for Arthritis Consumer Experts (ACE) , we now have one for our national arthritis awareness program called, "Arthritis is cured! (if you want it)". You can access it by going to http://www.twitter.com/arthritiscured. Cheryl Koehn, President of ACE and a person living with RA, is also on Twitter at http://twitter.com/CherylKoehn.

Would you like to learn more about Twitter? Consider having a look at our November 2010 issue of JointHealth™ monthly titled, "Your health, the internet and social media: making it work for you."

Briefly, Twitter is a social networking service, where you can "follow" people or organizations that interest you. Also, you can share your thoughts and ideas, or just have a conversation in short statements no more than 140 characters long.

Twitter is fun, and easy, to use. It is an excellent resource for getting information about arthritis and good way to connect with others who face similar issues and concerns. Twitter is not just a tool for knowledge, it is a social gathering place.
