Last call to join Pre-RA Focus Group Study on February 9 and March 2

Want to take part in a focus group about preventing RA?

Participate in the "Preventing Rheumatoid Arthritis (Pre-RA): perspectives of people at risk and of rheumatologists on selected interventions" study now.

You can participate if you:
  • Have rheumatoid arthritis
  • Are a first-degree relative (siblings or parents) of people with RA, but you do not have RA yourself
The study will help researchers determine people's attitudes towards preventative treatment and the decision-making process around treatments.

The Preventing Rheumatoid Arthritis (Pre-RA) study is part of a larger project, and is funded by an unrestricted Canadian Initiative for Outcomes in Rheumatology cAre (CIORA) grant from the Canadian Rheumatology Association.

Two focus groups are planned in a focus group facility in Downtown Vancouver called NRG Research (located by the Burrard skytrain station), one on February 9th, 2016, and one on March 2nd, 2016. Each session will take about 2 hours. Non-alcoholic beverages and light refreshments will be provided. You will receive a $80 honorarium for your participation.

If you would like to be a part of this important research project, please contact the research coordinator indicated below.

Research Coordinator: Katherine Milbers.
